Microsoft recently released the first beta version of Internet Explorer 9. It's the first major upgrade to IE in about two years - and, it seems, the first real improvement since the late 1990s! IE7 and IE8 didn't really add much to the browsing experience, and introduced glitches that drove users and website developers nuts.
