Ladle Rat Rotten Hut is a takeoff on the "Little Red Riding Hood" story,
and was published in the 1940 book "Anguish Languish", by H.L. Chace.
Professor Chace taught romance languages at Miami University in Ohio,
and it is said that this excercise was written to show his students
how integral intonation is to the meaning of language.
At first glance, it reads like nonsense, but if you say it out loud it's
