numbers or e-mail addresses, but I like 555-1212 the best. They have
some of their own databases, but the real value is the up to date
links to other search sites.

In addition to phone numbers and e-mail addresses, you can use
555-1212 to look up street addresses, area/country codes and quickly
repeat your search on several alternate databases. Pop in and visit

White Pages Search (USA)
Find a person's phone number using Switchboard, Four11 or InfoSpace.
These sites use the Database America, Metromail, and ProCD databases,
respectively. These are the three major vendors of telephone
directory information in the USA, so if you don't find it at one of
those sites, you probably won't find it anywhere. The direct address

Reverse Lookup
If you're like me, you have slips of paper all over with phone numbers
scribbled on them. If you want to look up someone using just their
phone number, you can also do that on the White Pages page. This is
also handy when you're browsing the classified ads and you want to
know who is behind a particular ad.
Or maybe all you have is an address... Try the "Look-Up By Address
Only" form on the same page, and you can get the name and phone number
associated with an address. But even cooler, if you enter a street
name (without the street number) you'll get ALL the names, addresses
and phone numbers for that street! This is really useful when you
know what street the person lives on, but you can't remember their
name or phone number.
OUTSIDE THE USA
---------------
If you're looking for a phone number somewhere else in the world,
start at the 555-1212 home page, click on the "Telephone Numbers" link
under the "Global Information" heading, and you'll have access to
online directories for about a dozen countries. If you know about a
white pages directory for a country not listed, contact 555-1212 and
tell them, so they can add it to their list.
You can also find links to over 50 online international Yellow Page
directories, fax number directories, and Toll-free (800 and 888)

FINDING E-MAIL ADDRESSES

If you're after an e-mail address, you could try Four11, then
WhoWhere, then IAF, or you could just click on "Email Address" at the
555-1212 page and search them all from one page. The direct address

It's a real time saver, because all of the e-mail directories have
their own databases and you usually need to search more than one.
