           TODAY'S TOURBUS TOPIC: Global Wandering

Ever since Tourbus started rolling back in 1995, we've tried hard to make
it a resource with worldwide relevance and appeal. Even though 60% of
Tourbus riders are based in the USA, we respect the fact that Tourbus goes
out to people in over 130 countries.

For our Spanish friends, we have "TOURBUS en Espanol" which contains over
100 issues of Tourbus, dating back to March 1997. You can access these
archived issues (and almost three years of the English version) on the
Tourbus website at http://www.tourbus.com/.

Today's issue is devoted to a sampling of sites on the web that will
perhaps open your eyes to something new and different around the world.
All of them were created by Tourbus riders, so if you have a special site
about your corner of the world, let me know!

Canada Grade A - http://www.look-ear.com/canada
-----------------------------------------------

Canada Grade A is an online broadcast that uses the popular Real Audio
streaming utility. Anchored by Geoff Edwards, each edition of the show
exposes listeners to humor and Canadian rock, alternative and other releases.

Unofficial Guide to Slovak Politics - http://www.slovensko.com
-----------------------------------------------------------------

A nicely done site bringing news and comments about Slovak politics
and social life from the point of view of Miroslav Sedivy, a 19 year-old student
living in the capital of this small but interesting country.

The site is updated daily, and features basic information on Slovakia, a photo
gallery, and RealAudio soundclips. There's also a link to an article from
the year 1922 - with predictions about life in the year 2000.

E-Conflict World Encyclopedia - http://www.emulateme.com/
---------------------------------------------------------

A very interesting site with 1,400 pages of information about the nations of
the world. Site author David Driggs hopes the site will help to eradicate conflict
by increasing cultural awareness. There really is a goldmine of information
here, including National Anthems (in text and MIDI format), Flags, Maps, Weather
and statistics about each country.

You can try the World Encyclopedia search engine, take the E-Conflict World Quiz
and Capital City Quiz to see how good your geography skills are, or just browse
around and learn about everything from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe.

THE TOURBUS PLUS COMPUTER GIVEAWAY!
-----------------------------------

We're happy to announce that the winner of our portable stereo CD player
is Kathy Sweet of Phoenix, AZ. But Patrick and I have decided that's
not enough. So we're going to give away a COMPLETE COMPUTER SYSTEM
worth OVER $1000 to one lucky TOURBUS PLUS reader in December.

That's right, we're giving away a hot multimedia computer system. To
