AllAdvantage. In a nutshell, you get paid 50 cents an hour to surf

A SEARCHLING WE WILL GO

I got a note last week from Tourbus rider Douglas Lake, about a new
meta-search engine he and some pals have cooked up. Here's what he
says about Searchling:

Searchling is a Java interface that eliminates the need to know the
advanced syntax of all these search engines, and sports a unique "Yes,
Maybe, No" format which allows the user to easily formulate complex
queries and search with several engines at once. Does it work better
than MetaCrawler or Dogpile? I'm not sure, but it's fun to use!

TOURBUS GETS A FACE LIFT
--------------------------
I've spent some time working on the Tourbus website recently, so pop
in and check out the new digs! Most notably, I changed the Archives
display, so ALL of the 1999 postings show up right away, with the most
recent ones at the top. For some reason, the LISTSERV default was to
display them in backward-ordered batches of 50, so I wrote a little
a program to reformat the listing and make it easier to use.
You can also try out the Free Greeting Cards, play Warp The Busdriver,
do the hilarious "Patrick's Face Poll", and grab an animated button to
use when linking your site to Tourbus. Minutes of fun! :-)
